For those of you I haven't met let me tell you a little about me. I am 75 years old, retired, am 6’1” tall (I used to be 6’2”) and weight 198 lbs. I have been with Jessica fore five years now. When my grandson, who was 15 at the time, decide that he was serious enough to want to play hockey in college, my daughter and son in law looked fora personal trainer for him. that was how Jessica came to our attention.
I would pick him up and drive him to his workouts. When I saw how professionally Jessica managed his workouts, I began to also participate. Jessica would restructure my workouts suitable for some one my age. I did strength, cardio, stretches, and balance. when my grand sone left, (he is playing hockey in college now) I continued on with Jessica. I was feeling pretty good about myself at the time.
At about this time, approximately 3 years ago, my personal physician suggested I take the Medicare approved wellness exam. “You have nothing to lose and Medicare will cover the expenses.” How often does the Government give you something for nothing, so I agreed.
To make a long story short, I was diagnosed with stage one liver cancer. Because of its location I only had two options: liver transplant or chemotherapy. I chose the chemo. The Dr. deemed that I was physically fit enough to be able to withstand a two drug treatment. However the side effects would be difficult. My wife and I signed a release that we would not hold them liable if I committed suicide during treatment.
I continued to workout with Jessica during treatments. The workouts were adjusted to compensate for my weakened state. Jessica’s “good job Joe” encouraged me thru these sessions. I stayed on chemo for 9 months. The Dr. was impressed at how well I was able to handle the side effects. (Yes I did lose my hair). He felt that my continuing to do physical exercises was important factor in being ale to withstand the rigors of the chemo.
I have been in remission for now for two years. It has taken that long to recover from the side effects of the chemo. My last visit there before being put on six month checks went something like this. My x-rays and lab work were all OK. The only problem he found was with my pulse and blood pressure. My resting pulse was 46 and my BP was 106/68. “These are too low for someone your age” I was told. He checked my ankles for edema, listened to my chest for fluids, and asked if I got dizzy or felt faint when I went from sitting to standing position. No to all. He asked if I was taking unit anxiety medsI had for when I was on chemo. I tried it once but it caused me to lose that day to a fog like state. Didn't take another.
I suggested to him that maybe those numbers were the results of my workout routine. As I started to feel better when the chemo ended. Jessica gradually increased the intensity of my workouts. I kept on with strength, cardio, balance and stretching. I also kept getting the “good job Joe” encouragement.
So lets put the credit for the good result whit it belongs; “good job Jessica.”

I have had a few different trainers before, but none of them compared to Jessica. I have been training with her for 5 years now and she is by far the best personal trainer I have had. It all started out with my parents looking for a trainer to help me train for hockey when my mom came across Jessica. She thought Jessica was pretty good looking and thought it would make me want to work out harder and that was accomplished. Working out in front of Jessica did make me work harder. When she found out I was a hockey player, Jessica did some research on the best exercises for hockey players and started training me with her new found knowledge.
When I first started working out, I could barely squat or bench press the bar and could barely do one pull-up. After a few short weeks with her, I started being able to lift more. The more I went to train with Jessica, the stronger I got. Now 5 years later, she is still pushing me to the best of my abilities. Jessica always mixes up the workouts and creates something new for me every time I train. Not only that, but she encourages me through every lift and cheers me on believing I can do it even if I am struggling to lift the weight. If I do struggle with the weight, she notices that, talks to me to see how I’m feeling and listens to what I say, then adjusts the weight.
Jessica takes her job very seriously with research, making sure you accomplish your goals, pushing you to be the best that you can be, and making sure you’re safe in the gym by having correct form, but she does like to have fun in the gym. There are times where we have client competitions as well as joke around. Sometimes we even send videos back and forth between clients to challenge each other.
Not only has Jessica helped me to become better in the gym, but she has also helped me to become better outside of the gym. She’s always asking how things are going with school and work. Jessica always asks about hockey as well. Not only does she care about bettering you in the gym, but she wants to help you become a better person outside of the gym in everyday life. Because of Jessica and how much fun we have in the gym, she has also inspired me to become a personal trainer so that I can also help out others and be there for them just like she was for me.
After saying all this, anyone who asks me for ideas on who to go to for a personal trainer, I always recommend Jessica at Smokin’ Hot Bod! She is hands been the best trainer I have ever had and I won’t go to anyone, but her. In fact, I’ve talked so much about her and how good of a trainer she is, that I have gotten my grandpa as well as my father to start training with her, so now we have three generations working out.

Jessica in a word is "Amazing". Jess has made a huge difference in my life. I am stronger, have more flexibility, better balance and stamina. Jess is very encouraging when it comes to taking you to the next level including "abs". I highly recommend Jess for all training and workout needs, regardless of age or ability.
Jess is very knowledgeable, extremely dedicated and always has a positive, can do attitude. She is mentally and physically engaged and balances the right amount of encouragement while pushing for improvement. And she always "changes it up" with new workouts every time. She enjoys educating you and making sure you understand the most productive and safe form to use with each exercise. And I guarantee she can do more pull ups than anyone you know! Jess is an amazing, talented, experienced trainer.

Who ever thought exercising could be fun? Meeting Jessica for workouts is always entertaining as well as productive. She is a very bright individual with a wonderful personality who - also is an expert in her field! I look forward to each meeting just to see what new exercise routines Jess has thought up. Each day is different. Each day is productive.
Jessica has educated me to understand the importance of workouts that develop and balance the entire body muscle groups. I feel and look much better. My endurance level is similar to 30 years ago. Skiing and all other physical activities are enjoyable again. Jessica is simply the best trainer I have worked with!

I have worked with numerous personal trainers in the past, and Jessica is quite possibly the best one I ever worked with. I have never had a boring training session with her. Everyday is always something new. Unlike the meathead trainers, Jessica will actually listen to you and tailor the training program to accomplish your goals. That being said, don't think that she is going to take it easy on you. I can still remember sessions where I came close to throwing up and sessions where I can't even speak because I'm so out of breath. But I thrive on this!
I have been training with Jessica for over seven years now, and I am in the best shape of my life. She helped me accomplish my life goal of running a half-marathon and a full-marathon. Contacting Jessica has been the best fitness decision I have ever made in my life.
PS: "Sweet sweet death, you have finally come to liberate me from this burpee torture exercise."

Do you want to slim down or tone up? How about adding variety to a boring, ineffective routine? Look no further; Jessica Nekuda will have you looking and feeling your best in no time at all.
I came to Jessica one year ago looking to add strength to my flabby muscles and to lose the extra pounds I have been carrying for far too long. On my first visit Jessica evaluated my physical fitness WITHOUT passing judgment. She did this by having me perform several activities while she took detailed notes. She made sure I correctly executed each and every exercise so that I would not hurt myself. She also discussed what would benefit me in regards to my eating habits. Jessica gave me some “homework” at our first session as well.
In each of my sessions, Jessica demonstrates each exercise until I feel I can properly execute the same movements. She adds new exercises every session so I am never in an unproductive rut. Jessica documents each session with every exercise performed and makes sure I feel comfortable enough with each exercise so that I can perform the same movements on my own at home on days when we do not meet. She gives me just enough motivation to work through muscle fatigue, but she is not a drill instructor. That sort of tactic would not motivate me in the least. I have walked out of each session feeling completely spent yet completely successful. It’s a wonderful feeling!
In the past twelve months I have added more strength than I realized I would. I have lost 50 pounds of body fat and shed nearly eight clothing sizes. I am more than pleased with the progress that I have made thus far under Jessica’s outstanding training.
I would absolutely recommend Jessica to anyone who is serious about taking charge of their health. With Jessica’s personalized service and exceptionally reasonable rates what are you waiting for? Pick up the phone, give her a call and look forward to having your very own Smokin’ Hot Bod!

Recently, my mom was diagnosed with Osteopenia (the early stages of osteoporosis). The fact that she is only in her early 50’s made me think more about my own future health. Although I enjoy cardio and have done it for years, I realized that in order to have the body I wanted (and be a healthy older woman with strong muscles and bones), I would also need to do resistance training, something I had never enjoyed. I had started so many times before, on my own, only to give up a week or two into it. I realized I needed a push in the right direction, since this was not something I was looking forward to. And I knew very little about how to even do strength training properly, so I needed help there too.
Working with Jessica has helped me with all of those things! We discussed my goals, my less-than-enthusiastic attitude about strength training, my need for motivation and accountability. She answered all of my questions, and then we got started on a plan. Working out with Jessica has been so much fun, and I really look forward to our sessions! She creates a new routine for me every week, so I never get bored. She pushes me when I need pushing, and she modifies certain exercises when I need modifications (I have knee problems). She is extremely knowledgeable about form, which is something I really needed to learn. With Jessica’s help, I have learned to actually enjoy strength training! And I’m starting to see results. I really think I would have given up weeks ago, if not for Jessica’s help and motivation.
